Other than installing full hookups, Prairie Flower needs to have the second fresh water spigot re-installed. With just the one, filling fresh water tanks can take awhile when there is a line of RVs all wanting to fill.

Staff and Army Corp are wonderful. So much nature to view. Lots of shade on most lots. Be back next year!

LOVED having a concrete pad rather than gravel! We camp there many times each summer and always enjoy it. One complaint... there need to be more dump stations - waiting in line 2 or 3 hours on check out day is not fun.

From I-35, take exit 90 to Ankeny/Oralabor Road and go west for 4.8 miles. The road turns into Highway 415, continue and follow signs to the campground.
Prairie Flower Recreation Area is accessible via Iowa State Highway 415, which is approximately 5 miles to the east. Interstate 80 is about 20 miles to the north.
