We were at site 138. It is a wonderful site. If I had a concern, it would be the speed of bikers coming down the hill.

Since we often travel with our young grandchildren, playgrounds are high on our list of important features. Saylorville has many fantastic playgrounds! The sites are level and there is lots of space around your site. The restrooms are clean and well lighted. We didn't use the beach access this visit but the trail is paved for much of the distance. The bike trails are accessible from within the park, too. COE campgrounds are our favorite places to camp!

From I-35, take exit 90 to Ankeny/Oralabor Road and go west for 4.8 miles. The road turns into Highway 415, continue and follow signs to the campground.

Prairie Flower Recreation Area is accessible via Iowa State Highway 415, which is approximately 5 miles to the east. Interstate 80 is about 20 miles to the north.
