A very quiet campground, with a good view of the river. access walk/bike trail to other side of river. Very clean restroom/showers. Friendly staff

There's something here for everyone who loves the outdoors! Walking, hiking, biking trails. Fishing, wildlife, playgrounds.
The campground is so well kept and clean.
Steve, the camp host was so welcoming.

Ivan's Recreation area is a very clean, well maintained campground. The new shower house is very nice and clean. I think all Iowa Corp of Engineers campgrounds are fantastic and this one is no exception. Great bike trails, both paved and MTB trails. The only blemish is there is little to no internet service...to the point you are unable to text...let alone surf the internet for weather conditions.

Ivan’s Campground was a wonderful experience for our family. I appreciated our view at our campsite and the trails were a great place for our kids to ride their bikes.

Ivans does not have a reservation window. You MUST have a reservation prior to occupying a site. |

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 2:00 p.m. |

There is no water fill-up or dump station located at Ivans. Visitors may use any of the other Army Corps of Engineers facilities located at Lake Red Rock. |

We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind. |

Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed. |

Parking or driving on the grass is not allowed. Boat trailers may be parked on the grass. |
