This campground was really nice. Some areas weren't as shaded as other but they did have shade and tons to do. Right below the fun and had a good spot to fish.

Beautiful campground! Bathroom was immaculate. Site 6 is as close to the river as you can get. It rained all night but it cleared up by eight o'clock or so. I'll go back again some time soon and spend a few days reading and exploring.

The campgrounds was clean and kept up. Shower House and restroom was clean. Workers were very friendly. We enjoyed the trails and the fishing. The only suggestion I have is to add a play ground for the kiddos. Loved our stay will stay again.

Ivan's is right on the river. Great views of wildlife and fishing. Small, but quiet and clean campground. Will definitely return.

We stayed at Ivan's Recreation campground to attend the Pella Tulip Festival May 6-9th. Campground was very clean, facilities, (shower/toilets) were cleaned and tidy. Campground hosts welcomed us to our site and made us feel welcomed. A great weekend to remember. Only 4-5 miles to Pella. Would definitely stay there again.

General
- Ivans does not have a reservation window. You MUST have a reservation prior to occupying a site.
- There is no water fill-up or dump station located at Ivans. Visitors may use any of the other Army Corps of Engineers facilities located at Lake Red Rock.
- We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind.
- Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed.
- Parking or driving on the grass is not allowed. Boat trailers may be parked on the grass.
- Golf carts, UTVs, and ATVs are not permitted.
- Kiddie pools, slip-and-slides, and similar water-based play equipment are not permitted.
- Bounce houses and similar inflatable play equipment are not permitted.
