Super enjoyed the stay at White breast campground, stayed over on Labor Day weekend. A few of the campsites aren't totally level so you'll need a leveling kit, shower heads in women's bathroom/ shower house needs NEW heads!! But otherwise great time nice people and the hosts where awesome to me and my friend. I will be back!!!!

This is a very nice campground. Easy to get to. The campground was built sometime after the lake was created 50 years ago, so the shower house, while clean, was starting to look it's age. The campground was also built when campers were not as large as they are today. It seemed that most of the sites were better suited for 25 foot or smaller. If you have a larger camper, be sure to check the site length before you reserve. We will definitely be going back to this campground.

This was a great campground. The bathroom and shower facilities were plenty nice, even if they were immaculate. The playground had plenty to keep kids entertained. The beach was also very nice, including outdoor showers and bathrooms. The beach is within walking distance for most campsites. I was somewhat surprised with how hilly the area was... it wasn't an issue, but my young kids did complain about the roads being steeper than they were comfortable riding bikes up!

End of season and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Plan to come back again. We looked around and noted multiple sites that we would want to camp in.

We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind. |
