Great communication on phone and helpful. Clean and modern restrooms and showers. Not a lot of tent spots, as it's a smaller campground, but what they are are spacious with good firepits and plenty of soft ground to stake your tent. Dog friendly too.

We went on a week long camping trip from Colorado to back in our home state, and I have to say, between the handful of camp grounds, this was my favorite! The owners helped the last minute get us into cabin one! A few steps out the door is an amazing view to watch the sunset and enjoy the little things in life! I am really impressed with my choice of coming here!

We stayed in cabin 1. It was beautiful, clean and well supplied. We found the surrounding were also beautiful, quiet and serene. There is a little hiking right on the property, and mor nearby at Preparation Canyon. The bath house was the best part. It was clean and cute and had a sink for washing dishes.

The owners were kind and responsive.
I stayed in cabin 2. This would not be a place for those with mobility difficulties as it is hilly and there are a lot of stairs.
I did not take any hikes, but I saw a lot of trails on the property, one right out my front door. Everything was clean and in good shape. The picnic table is built in, so that it can be level where the ground isn't.
The website states that the cabins have an electric skillet along with other kitchen essentials. I have taken pictures of these as I like to know details.
The bath house has pay washer and dryer (one of each), a kitchen sink with strainer, soup and spongen two large toilet stalls and one large shower stall with space to dress.
The view from my cabin was wonderful with trees all around on rolling hills. The drive was a lovely drive through the Loess Hills.
It is a quiet, peaceful place that I think would be lovely any time of year.

This was one of the cleanest, most cared-for campgrounds my wife and I have ever been in. The cabin was decorated, and the indoor and outdoor furniture were solid and not cheap. Never seen a cleaner, more sanitary shower house in my life, and they even provided magazines to read, lol.
There were nice trails that connect directly to all four cabins, probably 90 minutes to 2 hours to walk them all, really nice views, maintained. And literally a 60-second walk from our cabin #1 was a bench atop a hill with the most incredible view, majestic.
The owner was also very responsive to email questions or phone calls, and clearly cares about the place and his guests.
