Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Great place to camp- The host are great people and will go the extra mile to help out any needs. The only thing is the boat dock area needs dredged as there isn’t enough water to put your boat in and out. I have sent the core messages regarding this issue with no response 🤷♂️

Very nice campground with level sites and easy to maneuver around. It is conveniently located for a short drive to other locations and places of interest like Wildcat Den and the old mill. We enjoyed going into Muscatine to eat, drink and see the historic buildings down town. Salvatores Italian Ristorante is a must for anyone going to Muscatine.
