Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

On the River was great. Lot was level. Could have used a little more rock at the front door. Gina is always great as the host! Shower house is a bit dated. Water at sinks need a different system for washing hands!
Overall, always love this place.

Campground has nice level cement sites. Water hydrant placed throughout but could be closer on the sites that back up to the river so you don't need 100 ft of hose. Shower house is dated but kept up nice.

Stayed three days here. Beautiful campground, well maintained and room between sites! Only issue was near train tracks and can get noisy sometimes at night.

SITE # 5.Nice level cement pad. Great view of the Mississippi. Really enjoyed watching the barges go up and down the river. Very beautiful and well maintained park. Courteous and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.
