Great campground right on the Mississippi. Was nice to see the barges go by. There is a train track near by and they blow the whistle throughout the night.

We love this campground. It's quite (except for the occasional train), well maintained and near Wildcat Den state park. We also enjoy Muscatine Iowa's farmers market & arboretum.

Very well taken care of campground. Nice concrete parking pads that extend to the picnic table and fire pit areas.

It is a very peaceful place that is well maintained and it is lovely to just watch the boats and wildlife on the river. There is a train that goes nearby, but after a while a person doesn’t hear it. It is very close to Wildcat Den State Park and that is also very beautiful.

The campsites are very clean and tidy. There are some nice views of the Mississippi River. We appreciated the clean, well stocked bathrooms. Maple trees give plenty of shade. The cement pads are very level, and there are nice firepits. Check-in was easy.
One downside is that the train whistle is very loud.
The "trail" at this campground is very short, but the nearby Wildcat Den State Park has great hiking trails.

Nice little spot on the river. Firewood is expensive.
