Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Nice big level concrete sites. Restrooms were very clean. Great views of the river. Close to the Quad Cities and Muscatine.

Great camp host . Could use some more grass though. We had a great time and will come back.

Beautiful view from campground! Flower beds near bathroom and wildflower area poorly taken care of. Bathrooms not very clean and very poor ventilation. Showers were designed for shower curtains and none available. Try and get dressed on wet floor.

We enjoyed watching the trains on one side of the campground and barge and tug traffic on the river. The campground was neat and clean. Spaces were flat and a nice size for the camper. We did not plan on sight seeing but relaxing.
