Would be nice to have extra hooks in the showers!

Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Great people and a nice location for paddlers going down the Mississippi. Coordinate in advance but they are excellent hosts

Great campground. All staff & volunteers very friendly. I'm a 3rd generation camper here & have seen the growth & development of this park. I do wish the individual with the political flags that contain F-bombs remember this is a family environment! I guess when you have the mind of a child you can get by acting like one.

Very nice campground on the banks of the Mississippi River. Nice long level concrete pads. The park is spotless and the grass is mowed. The only negative thing is the docks need to be dredged out as there is about 6” of water for 200 ft in all directions. We could not use the docks. Instead we used the state park (16 ft of water at docks) 3 mi away to launch and retrieve the boat.

From Davenport, Iowa, drive west on Highway 22 about 17 mi and turn at the Shady Creek sign.
Shady Creek is accessible via Highway 22, which connects to major roads in the region.
