The amount of barking dogs is absurd. People have no respect for others, and just let their dogs bark constantly

Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Quiet campground along the banks of the Mississippi River. Fun to watch the river traffic go up and down the river. Sites were long and spaced out pretty nice.

Love camping by the river you never know what you might see next floating up or down the river.
The campground is always well kept and very nice.
