Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Pretty good as usual when we've camped here. Rained a lot but love the concrete!

Very nice cement pads. Be watching for barges and cruise liners. You can hear them coming. Places to eat in the area. A must as far as we are concern is Boonies on the Avenue and All American Cafe. Neat town with character.

The campground was great. We had a nice concrete level site that backed up to the water. Close enough to Muscatine that we went for dinner at Salvatore’s, and it was delicious. Thank you continuing to offer the America The Beautiful Senior Discount!
