Site #44 was very nice. There was a very decent view of the lake. The site had a nice amount of space, I didn’t feel squished between campers which is important to me. The bathroom at North Overlook Campground was very clean and seemed recently renovated.

Can't believe the campground hosts skipped out and went home two days before the park closed. I needed firewood and nobody was home... no vehicles in host sight. Othewise we live approximately 80 mi west of Omaha and were on our way back home with plans to stop and visit with our olders daughter and family in West Des Moines. Love North Overlook and Howells Station. We make plans to stay when we are in the area. Some pads need extending as they are short and rough for longer Motorhomes and RV's, but the park is nestled in nice oak trees and our stay was very comforting. Love North Overlook.

Deanna, the camp host, was outstanding and very hospitable.
We thank her for her kindness when we visited Pella tulip festival.

Campground is nice. The showers and bathrooms are very nice and clean. The noise from the highway next to the campground is bad. I prefer to camp where it’s quiet.
