The area is great, but you need to address the lack of cell coverage. Extremely poor reception or should I say no reception.
Thank you,

This is a large, flat campground. The sites are far apart on a large, grassy area. There are some bumps and dips in the grassy area, but no more than you would expect in such an area. Our site was level, both side to side and front to back.

The campground and facilities are well cared for. We like that there is a nice space between campsites, not crowded. The bicycle trails in the immediate area are great and there are a lot of other things to see and do.

Plenty of room between spots. Great bike trail and immaculate restrooms.

The individual that blows off the roads and pads should probably shut off the blower when he’s going by people so someone doesn’t get their eye poked out! Otherwise great experience

Howell is a very nice campground. All the staff/volunteers do an excellent job. The bathrooms are always clean and tidy. There is lots of space between the campsites. I love the variety of trees; hackberry's, sycamores, gingko, Kentucky coffee, catalpa, white pine, box elder, red oak, white oak, large cottonwood, redbuds, etc.. It's like a mini arboretum. We had a severe storm go through our last night and the next morning early (Sunday no less), the Core was out early with boomtrucks, chain saws, brush chippers, skid loaders. Just an exceptional job. There is a nice 23 mi roundtrip bike path. Pella has some great pastries.

If you are looking for space, peace and quiet and something close to town this is your camping area. Love the convenience to the bike trail and able to ride into town whether to shop, eat or check out their awesome bike shop (Iowa Bike) where you will get fantastic assistance to purchase a bike (thanks Chris and Roy). The only down fall about corp campsites, no full hookups. However, their dump stations are easy access and clean so they do make it easy to use. Check it out as you will not be disappointed.
