Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

The walking/bike bridge across the river needs to have the boards bolted down. It is so noisy when bikes ride across.
Quiet hours not enforced.
Fresh water fill station need larger pipes. Takes too long to fill tank causing backup

We come here a couple times a year. It’s our favorite campground on Lake Red Rick. Clean facilities and well-kept sites. Good access to paved hiking and biking trails.

Great campground, large camp sites. Showers and restrooms need updating, but usable. Overall, good place to stay.
