We enjoyed this campground a lot. I especially loved the recycling and the beach onsite. The site was spacious with a large backyard area and enough parking for two vehicles. We stayed in this spot in a 41ft fifth wheel.

This campground is beautiful and has recycling and a nice beach onsite. This site is spacious and was very level for our 41ft RV. There was only room for one vehicle parking with our other RV, but there’s ample parking nearby within walking distance.
We originally were in site 56 and had to move to this site as #56 is very unlevel (5 degrees total, front to back and side to side) and our 41ft RV would throw an error during the leveling process. Thankfully they had this site available and they were easy to work with to solve the problem.
We also stayed in site 307 and it worked great for our large fifth wheel.

Very nice campground. However our sites were not the greatest as they were on a hill, we did not realize that when we were looking on the map. Would be nice to give a heads up about that to people when they are booking their sites

We love Sugar Bottom. Our favorite campgrounds, especially if we can get electric & water hookup.

One of the very best campgrounds in the state! Clean restrooms and showers, easy in and out spots, friendly hosts and neighbors. If the entrance wasn’t a 45 degree hill it would be an absolutely great place!

This is a really nice campground with a lot to offer. It appears to be well maintained, with good access to the lake and beach. Bathroom and shower facilities were nice as well. My one frustration was that some of the water hydrants were turned off in a seemingly random order. The campsites are relatively closely packed in, but there was a reasonable amount of privacy nonetheless.

Because my wife and I were tent camping, we pitched near the restroom/shower facilities. Best overall facilities we’ve seen!
