Our boat was too long for the parking spots and dnr was very helpful with assisting us in getting a place setup for parking it.
Bathrooms were clean except for the drains in both showers (men’s and women’s) would not drain, which left you standing in the dirty water.
We enjoyed our weekend spent at Sugar Bottom and plan to return again.

Not To Good To Be True!
Easy to find and reserve online. Attendants and staff were very nice and very helpful. Great space, beautiful views and sunset. We would return!

This was my first time at Sugar bottom. It was amazing! Next time I go I am going to still use my tent but going to make sure I have the electric and water hookups. Love the facilities and the park attendants are amazing folks!!

Our favorite place to camp for the past 30 years. Love the access to the lake for boating, the beach, multiple shower facilities and proximity to great restaurants and shopping if needed. Park is well maintained overall. Nice trails for walking and biking, disc golf and great fishing also.

Campgrounds and washroom/shower facilities are very clean and well kept. Excellent beach and lake waterfront. Quiet at night. Thanks for a great experience.

Good spot. There are bushes separating the site next to you, which is nice. Well pump also behind you, as well as the woody area.

Area of campground we stayed in was nice and well taken care of. Roads leading in and out reminds us of Colorado with hills and switchbacks. Nice scenery.

$20 per night is $4 more than any other camp ground around this area, that's a little pricey
