Beautiful park. Wonderful trails all around. Site 52 has a great deal of privacy despite its location on a corner. Site is very sloped, must be at the edge of the gravel for best leveling of RV.

As always our stay was excellent. We love this site. Always clean area and bathroom/showerhouse were kept clean several times daily especially on busy weekends.

Sugar Bottom is top notch! The campground and facilities are clean and in excellent repair. The staff are wonderful; very helpful and pleasant. Our favorite campground within a 2 hour drive from home so easy to access and yet still close enough to home.

I don't understand why the check in booth isn't open at 2:00 for the new check in hours. Don't seem to be inforcing the new check out time of 12:00.

I love this campground. There are a couple of things I would improve if I were in charge. #1 I would place dumpsters in all the loops, probably near the restrooms/shower houses. #2, do a little better job of cleaning the shower/bathrooms. There was a wad of hair lying on the shower drain the first morning I was there. I did not see that later in our stay.
I will return next year. The value is great, the campsites are nice and the area beautiful.

Wonderful place to camp, especially during the week nice and quiet. I’m sure it will get very busy. Come summer. The off times are an excellent experience.
