This was the best place we've stayed in the past 4 years. Very nice campground. Lots of trees, great view of Iowa river and quiet. Everyone around us was nice and friendly. It's just an overall nice and very clean place. Our site was level for our camper. The restroom/shower was a bit dated but clean and close to walk to.
We definitely enjoyed ourselves here.

I love sugar bottom campground it's very clean and a fun atmosphere. 😁 this site was close to the bathroom and showers. But it's a pretty far distance from the beach. It was a nice quiet area though.

US Cellular coverage is 1 bar if you are lucky and it’s not consistent. Don’t plan to work remotely if you have them as a provider.

Great service from staff. Very relaxing campground. The only reason I didn’t mark excellent was the check out is noon. This makes the dumping stations very backed up up until noon.
