Its a nice quiet campground. The beach is perfect for swimming, & for families.

Love this campground. We have been coming out for the July 4th weekend for about the last 8 years.

It seems like every holiday week there is some kind of problem. This time we lost water pressure for part of day. This led to all the restrooms being closed. Once we had water pressure back we still had to wait another hour for the restrooms to be opened. It was also inconvenient for some of the campers since they had removed one restroom and they didn't have it rebuilt yet even though they were closed for the month of May. Last year during the 4th of July week we lost our electricity. I am beginning to wonder if we should go somewhere else in the future.

This was a nice campground. If you use the tent area the sites aren't really level. There is a beach, boat ramp, and playgrounds for the kids.

We had a beautiful view of the river from our campsite. Large grassy area for our dog. Excellent firewood available. The site was large and allowed for guests to park.

It's nice for families and boaters, but not very peaceful for those who want a nature experience and you need a car to drive to trailheads or attractions in the area.
