Sugar Bottom is one of our favorite camp grounds. we have camped in different sites and happy with all of them. Always clean and well maintained. My husband loves to fish and I love to shop. Stores and restaurants are a plenty and close by. Walking, biking, hiking, swimming and just plain relaxing. We recommen Sugar Bottom to all our families and friends and strangers. We have our reservation in already! 😀

Wonderful spot with good shade and close to bathroom and lake, beautiful with neighbors not very close by!

Great place. Well kept and the staff is great. We've been many times and will continue to make it a destination.

My daughter and I camped here one night hoping to ride the MTB trails the next day. Unfortunately, the trails were too wet and not open. The swimming beaches had weird sand mud, the water was muddy, and the heavy rain washed all sorts of gross stuff and foam onto the beaches so we didn't swim. I forgot to bring discs for disc golfing. Kind of a bust for activities. But, the campsite, bathrooms, and hosts were terrific.

Boat ramp closed. Poor accommodations for those with boat. Construction noise and traffic.

We had not been camping at Sugar Bottom for several years and we were pleasantly surprised at the improvements/changes that had been made. Our group was able to get sites together, close to water, close to the restrooms, and with plenty of shade. The many activities in and around the area are great. We plan on at least 2 or more camping trips to Sugar Bottom in 2020... Great Job...
