This campground is one of my favorite spots. It has access to a nice fish cleaning station and updated restrooms.

All facilities, restrooms/showers exceptionally clean and cared for. Park sites are well maintained. Busy on weekends but family orientated, rules such as quiet hours, noise levels, pets are cared for, etc.... are followed
All the COE parks around Coralville Lake are lovely and we have never been disappointed in any of them.

a fantastic camp ground. Loved the many hiking trails and the Frisby disk course. Was hard to find trash cans and not clear on where to put it. very clean bathrooms and large shaded camping spots.

We were in FHU loop which was great. Roadway was a little tight there. Campers NOT staying in that loop were a problem driving thru a lot of the time as well as some towing boats. Site pad was nice, nearly level. Town of Noeth Liberty is closest for shopping and services and very nice. CG is close to the Historic Amana Colonies which is a definite must visit. The long winding road to campground has major steep grades and hairpin turns and is 1.5 miles long. We did not relish that every time. The campgeound really fills up with family groups of campers especially on weekends. Bath house by our loop was very decent with peivate 3 pc bath, shower and lockable door for complete privacy and security which is great. Camphosts in our loop were very nice. Our site (12) had the least amount of shade, I think the photo online was of site 10?

Sugarbottom may be one of the best campgrounds I've stayed at! The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and it was nice having a variety of options from a pit toilet to individual rooms with showers. Unlike a lot of other campgrounds I've stayed out, it didn't feel overly crowded, even though there were a decent number of people. Spots are spread out well and are in small clusters as opposed to long rows, making it feel more private. The views were lovely, the campsite host friendly, and everyone we met was incredibly kind and thoughtful of those around them. We look forward to staying again!
