We really enjoy camping at Sugar Bottom, but lately we and another camper were reminded that we had to be out by 12. It wasn’t even close to the time to leave yet. Hope they don’t do that all the time or we won’t be back.

Noon check out time not conducive to Sunday afternoon boating. Requires we reserve Sunday night and hope for nice weather on Sunday. So far this year we have wasted 2 Sunday night reservations due to weather. Otherwise love the campground!

Great place to stay. The upgraded electric and more water spigots are great. The bathhouse near the road has been taken out. Looks like it will be replaced, but not done yet. It's a bit of a hike to reach the other 2 options.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites are close together with nothing between most of them. When I was here the place was packed and lots of pets, so the openness made for a loud stay.
