What Guests Are Saying
Riverside East is a beautiful and peaceful campground with clean sites and ample space between them, making it ideal for families and recreational activities. While the bathrooms are outdated and occasionally not well-maintained, the overall atmosphere is quiet and secluded, with easy access to the river. Some campers reported issues with access and certain amenities, but many enjoyed their stay and appreciated the natural surroundings.

With my visit being later in the fall the campground wasn't very busy. That made for an extremely peicefull experience with my family. We enjoyed fishing along the neosho river and hiking on the trails during the perfect fall weather. The entire campground was very clean and well kept.

Very good place to camp. Need to improve the entrance and exit roads and get rid of the poison ivy. Very secluded and quiet.

The 1st night we stayed, we had no electric. There was a storm that went through there night before. Electric was of 24 hours and after that, everything was fine. If the weather would have worked with us, all would have been great.
