What Guests Are Saying
Riverside West offers a beautiful and shaded campground with well-spaced sites close to the river, providing a peaceful environment ideal for family camping and nature enjoyment. The facilities, including clean shower houses, are well-maintained, though some campers noted issues with flooding affecting boat access and occasional noise from nearby campers. Overall, guests appreciate the value and plan to return for another visit despite some logistical challenges.

The campsites were shaded and wonderful walking trails but due to flooding, boat ramps were closed so we couldn't canoe. The current was flowing to fast for boats to be on the river.definatly next time.

I love it because it was quiet and all I heard were birds chirping. It has water and electricity. It was not a full hook- up, but it has a dump station. The best sites were close to the river which were close to the bathroom. The only thing that I don't like about this place, it is far away from town and there was no gate attendant. But the price is right, I will stay here again.

Narrow roads, but then it is an OLD campground. Pick your spot according to your camper since you might have a hard time getting backed in. Water is not always close to your camper, seen some that were 50+ feet away. Lots of shade. Needs more than 1 fishing dock. Would I go again, YES.

Nearby campers were blaring music & yelling hours after quiet hours began. Camp host didn’t do their job of monitoring the campground.

I loved the trees in this campground. The river front campground so close to the water was perfect for my camping style. The shower house was very nice. The campgrounds were spaced apart more than most. So close to many fishing opportunities. Definitely the kind of campground I so enjoy...
