What Guests Are Saying
Riverside West offers a beautiful and shaded campground with well-spaced sites close to the river, providing a peaceful environment ideal for family camping and nature enjoyment. The facilities, including clean shower houses, are well-maintained, though some campers noted issues with flooding affecting boat access and occasional noise from nearby campers. Overall, guests appreciate the value and plan to return for another visit despite some logistical challenges.

Fortunately for us, the weather was wrong and it cooled off with some rain. The trees are incredible and the bathroom/showers were spotless! We liked that there were separate rooms for bathroom use. Water hook-ups were a plus. Unfortunately, we were unable to see any TV channels. Playing table games, grilling and using the fire pit were all wonderful. We also liked that the road was paved and that made it easier to walk to our friends camp site. When booking a site, there were practically no available sites. However, once we got there, almost all the sites sat empty the entire weekend.

Booked site online and received confirmation. After traveling 500 mi, We find someone is in OUR SITE! It was hot and needed the electric and water hook up. We chose to take the high road and have camp host change us to another open site. NO CAMP HOST ON SITE. Plan B, call 877# and got another site WITHOUT WATER. Where do you FILL POTABLE WATER in this campground? We had to cross the dam and get water at that campground!
Customer service was helpful but what a pain in the buttock after a long day of driving. We left before dawn to put it all behind us.

Beautiful campground. The bathrooms with showers near the playground and group shelter were clean. Most of the sites are well placed with plenty of room.
