Nice park - seems like I was there during offseason and lots of fallen trees and brush - but overall nice park

Nice campground overall. Some spaces partially unlevel, but you can absolutely accommodate
We arrived near dark and signage was not the best as far as directions

We did not have a good experience. The park was not kept up very well. The grass was very long, we were attacked by hornets at the dump station. We also had neighbors that played loud music until 2:30 in the morning. We do not plan to camp at this park anymore.

This is one of my favorite camping spots in Kansas. The facilities are clean, the campsites are large, well spaced, with tons of shade and other amenities.

Fall camping trip. Quiet campground. Campsite was clean. Enjoyed the wildlife viewing from the campsite- deer, armadillo, owls, raccoon.

The campground is reasonably quiet. Everything was clean and well kept. There is sometimes a distant rumble from a train or something. The hiking trail through the woods along the shore feels secluded (one does not see the campers) and provides a nice hour of hiking if going both ways for the full distance. The only big downside occurred during the day about halfway through my stay: a couple hundred orange, asian "lady" beetles descended on my campsite and on me. I was in open sun, and they were all over the sunny side of my white trailer. They came after me in my white tee shirt, too, so of course as I went in or out of the trailer they were getting inside. Maybe it was a hatch or a swarm that just showed up for whatever reason. I cut my stay short and pulled out early.

You need to simplify the reservation & cancellation process. ( via the app) It even has the staff at the facility confused. Otherwise, a great campground. Would come back again & highly recommend it to others.
