I was impressed by how clean and groomed the sites were. Everything was mowed and beautiful. Bathrooms was pretty clean, better than most ive seen. And the kids really enjoyed the playground right across from where we stayed. Beautiful place, will definitely be there again!

There were dead trees, literally all around our site. Very dangerous. and the bathrooms were dirty...no names on signs and signage was bad. Worst Corps of Engineer experience we have had yet.

We've been camping at Big Hill Cherryvale for more than 30 years. The toilet/showers located next to the playground has NEVER EVER, EVER been more disgusting!!! What is wrong with you people?! We had to clean the toilets and sinks ourselves, every single day. NO ONE replaced toilet paper. The floors horrible. It was a busy holiday weekend. It was so bad that I didn't go into the shower area. I can only imagine. Where is the cleaning crew?!!! Do better.

The campsite was pretty good. It was clean and the pad was pretty flat. And the restrooms were cleaned every day. A couple of reasons why the rating was not excellent were 1) getting to the picnic table was a little precarious. The terrain was a little steep. Some steps would have been nice since that particular site was elevated in order to make it as flat as possible. I have fairly bad knees which made it difficult to get down the hill. However, I didn't let that stop me., 2) the sewer was at a slight incline making it difficult to dump. We went to the campground dump site to dump. Other than that, the experience was pretty good. Weather great while we were there. Trees shaded the area pretty well too. I would recommend Big Hill lake at this campground a good spot to go.

To me this is the best lake in Kansas. Campsites are spaced out where you are not camping on top of everyone. Love the lake.

Nice quiet park with adequate hook ups. Did not care for the taste of the water, but it was OK for drinking. Bath house was clean. Site was reasonable level side to side, but tongue was down hill. We would stay in the park again.

Nice park - seems like I was there during offseason and lots of fallen trees and brush - but overall nice park
