Off season camping in Dec, so had the back loop to myself. Large clean pit toilet, with freeze free hydrant in front. Camp Host on site but the only way to pay was online, and the ATT data signal was in and out. Had issues paying for the site. I enjoyed the stay, but not struggling to pay.

Sites are well maintained and you’re not on top of your Neighbors like some other camp grounds. Will be going back!!

Although restroom/showers were closed for the season, the visit was quite enjoyable. Campground hosts very friendly and the sites have been developed such that there isn't a bad one at all. Fall colors were just past peak but nonetheless stunning. The trail along the lake is very picturesque. Although I am now horseless, I found the equestrian area is very well equipped.

Beautiful place. The nickname “Little Ozarks” is appropriate. The crappie fishing was great. We will be back.
