What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a pleasant destination for families and campers. Many visitors enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, with ample shade and wildlife, and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of certain bathrooms, dead trees in the area, and occasional noise disturbances, indicating room for improvement in park management.

Always a great time here. Great place for kids and outdoor activities. Really early in season but the bathrooms need some TLC.

We camp at Big Hill as often as we can. Both sides are very nice but the Cherryvale side is always beautiful with the overlooks and well-spaced camp slots.

The campground was nice, our site was clean. When researching our reservation it was noted on your website that the restrooms would be open during reservations season. Since we were able to make a reservation, we inferred that the restrooms would be open. They were not. This caused significant issues with us camping, because we have to drive a half a mile each way to the nearest vault toilet. Was not a fun experience. I attempted to call the park office multiple times before a reservation to confirm that the restrooms were open. No one ever answered, and there was no option to leave a voicemail.

Lousy 2.5 mile gravel road is only way into the park. Otherwise, your typical great Corps Project.

Off season camping in Dec, so had the back loop to myself. Large clean pit toilet, with freeze free hydrant in front. Camp Host on site but the only way to pay was online, and the ATT data signal was in and out. Had issues paying for the site. I enjoyed the stay, but not struggling to pay.
