What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park offers a mostly positive camping experience with clean and well-maintained sites that provide a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, such as power and water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and cleanliness of the facilities, including the bathrooms, although some have noted the need for updates and better maintenance. While there are concerns about overgrown areas, dead trees, and occasional issues with neighbors, overall, guests enjoy the park's beauty and express a desire to return.

Our group reserved the group site. however, a few of us wanted to come a couple of days early and occupy only our site in the group site and pay for it....not the entire group area. This wasn't possible.

Lovely park and lake. Very well taken care of. An epic 25 basket Disc Golf course. Great facility.

The original site was not described correctly on recreation.gov. As a result we were not able to occupy that site. Without staff or volunteers at that campground it was difficult to make the change to an appropriate site. The staff and volunteers are at a disadvantage in trying to resolve these sort of issues due to the scarcity of volunteers/ staff and the inability to make changes on the fly due to recreation.gov and the lack of first come sites. The current system makes it difficult for non- local users.
Staff was able to get us to a usable site and once there the campground proved to be very nice with good services. Without the help of the staff we would have had to leave with no options on where to stay.
Please bring back first come sites and some basic staffing at the campground. An emergency could become more serious without adequate staffing.

Beautiful area, loved the paved site. Only thing is wish the spot had been a little wider. Had to be very careful when stepping off steps you didn't step off and twist ankle. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Definitely recommend.
