What Guests Are Saying

Cherryvale Park is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a pleasant destination for families and campers. Many visitors enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, with ample shade and wildlife, and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of certain bathrooms, dead trees in the area, and occasional noise disturbances, indicating room for improvement in park management.

This was our 4th time here and the 3rd time at Cherryvale that once again we couldn't use the beach. This time because of blue green algae. I understand that but maybe an email letting the people know before we take our kids once again in 90° and no water time. The first time was because of flooding. Last summer it was because of Covid. The playground was open with 6ft distance signs but the big swim beach area was closed. Absolutely ridiculous. Sounds like they were just lazy and didn't want to deal with the beach. Campsites always need to be mowed too. May or may not give it another try.

We had an excellent time staying! We were first at site 09 but moved to 10 which was much better as far as the site being level and picnic table was closer. Wasn’t prepared for all the ticks got just walking through camping area but it was nice and quiet and clean. We will make this a yearly trip!

It was a nice time. Don't care for the having to reserve but know that's not a choice anymore. Everything was nice and clean. Enjoyed.

When making reservations carefully look at hook-ups. There are campsites without water hook ups.

Well the weather was rather humid this year and the rain down pour on during the nights, shower a few during the weekend. We didn't give up we stuck it out. Rented a G-1 group site, which was nice since it was a family event. No swimming this year due to the heat causing blue algae watch and warnings out, Is a good place to go boating and swimming activities other wise. The shelter had new paint and the outside benches which was nice. The only thing I would like the Park to do is install a few more outlet on the shelter with more voltage. Since it was so humid this year, we kept 2 fans going. We all had fun just hope we didn't disturb anyone at night, our family sometimes gets a little loud when having fun.
