Mound Valley Campground is highly praised for its beautiful and clean environment, friendly camp hosts, and enjoyable amenities like the swimming beach and well-maintained campsites. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for family bonding, particularly for children. However, some reviews noted that the bathrooms and showers could use more frequent cleaning, and there were concerns about the lack of water hookups at certain sites and the absence of a playground. Overall, it remains a favored camping destination for many.

We stayed Tuesday through Friday at the Mound Valley campsite. We put our boat on the water and enjoyed the next few days camping and boating. The campsite was nice, clean and peaceful. Every late afternoon, the lake came alive with more people having fun skiing, tubing and swimming. Great place to enjoy life!
