The Oak mites were horrible! Our entire camping party has itching welts and had to go see the dr on Monday. The campgrounds need sprayed horribly bad.

We had a beautiful 1 night stay in 024 on Aug. 16, 2022. The weather was perfect (slept with windows open). The site was clean and very well maintained. The blacktop surface sloped at a perfect angle to back in our class B Coachmen Beyond and leveling without any adjustments. Someone was kind enough to leave firewood in our fire ring and we enjoyed the fire until way past 10 PM. This is a beautiful park within 3 hours of home and we will return soon. A real plus in the immediate area was dinner at Hays House 1857 in Council Grove.
