Had a blast! This is by far my favorite lake. This was the first time my husband had been to Council Grove lake and it is now his favorite lake as well, so much so that we have made reservations for two different weekends.

I truly enjoyed my stay at he Council Grove Lake. There is only one complaint I have and that’s that the grass was so tall. The island part was worse then else where. I was told by the volunteers that it never got mowed twice in a row when the rest got mowed. Not only did it look bad but walking in it was nasty.

Wonderful to have a patio cover, table, and fire ring. The lots were large and we could see the water from our site. It was fun to watch families with kids enjoying the beach and boating.

The only issue was having to drive to the other side of the lake to check in since the booth at Richey Cove was not manned.
