Richey Cove is praised for its beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campground, offering scenic views and a quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities like fishing and kayaking. While some bathroom facilities have experienced maintenance issues, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly staff and a location close to town amenities. Richey Cove was a very clean and well kept park. Bathrooms were clean most of the time. Although shower heads were non functioning. Richey cove is a very convenient park close to many amenities. Lots of history to discover in Council Grove and not too far from the big KState town of Manhattan.

Space between campsites was great! Some of the pads aren't quite level. Swimming beach was nice, but geese leave their deposits. Lake water seemed quite clear.

I stayed in site #2. It’s right on the water and I could watch the sunset over the water. The roof over the picnic table is great. The restrooms/showers aren’t fancy but it’s hard to beat for the price.
