Richey Cove is praised for its beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campground, offering scenic views and a quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities like fishing and kayaking. While some bathroom facilities have experienced maintenance issues, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly staff and a location close to town amenities. Campers appreciate the spacious sites and the campground's ability to provide a great family-friendly environment, making it a favorite destination for repeat visits.

I stayed in site #2. It’s right on the water and I could watch the sunset over the water. The roof over the picnic table is great. The restrooms/showers aren’t fancy but it’s hard to beat for the price.

We had a great experience. This was our first time at this lake. The facilities were well maintained and clean. We especially liked that there was a lot of space for our grandkids to play.

Very nice lakeside campsite. Fire ring less than 20 ft from the water.
Pad slopes down from the road which added a bit of extra work to get backed in and level in our 5th wheel. Definitely will keep this site in mind for future trips.

We had one of the best days of our lives on this campsite. We were the only ones on the island and the weather was perfect for 2 days.

The campgrounds was nice. Clean and easy to get around. The boat ramp was nice and easy to use. I like the bathroom and shower house was great. They do need to be cleaned better and the showers need some work. The lake was great. Now as far as tent camping at site one there needs to be some dirt work to give some level ground for the tents. Not a deal breaker but would like to have leveler ground. Will camp here again
