Had a reservation and when we arrived for the night it was very quiet & peaceful. The dam was shut so there wasn’t much fishing traffic. However, when we plugged in our 30A power and turned on our usual AC stuff, the breaker would trip. I knew it was on the pole side since we just left another campsite in a different state just that morning and had no issues. Told the camp host, who was very helpful and responsive, and he attempted to contact maintenance without any success. The camp host suggested that we move to the site next to him since he could not contact maintenance. We did move and though the camp host did everything in his power to help, we still had the same issue. There must have been a power problem camp wide. Other than that, the stay was great, quiet & restful which is what we need for the night.

The dam was quite a site and very interesting. The camping areas at the bottom of the dam were nice & well maintained. There were a lot of fisherman coming and going but not to the point of it being too much of a bother. We stayed at site #1 which was the closest to the dam and was facing it. However, this particular site receives runoff from the hill next to it so there was some washed out sections making for an uneven stay. The other sites seemed to be fine and mostly level. Each site appeared to have their own picnic table & fire pit and there was a camp host at this location. The dump station was not operational so we had to drive approximately 1.5 miles to the other campsite on the upstream side of the dam. That dump station was well maintained & clean. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and everyone was friendly and quiet throughout the night. I recommend this camp and would stay again.

It was a nice quite fall weekend. The water levels were low so we were able to walk along the creek beds. The hiking in the area was pretty and not too hard. The kids enjoyed the small park.

The sites were reasonably level gravel. With a hill on one side and the dam on the other we felt like there was a good wind break to shield the site form the high winds that occurred while we were there. The water lines had been replaced recently to sites 4 and 5 so that they were located very far back on the site. I just barely had enough water hose to reach. The Sites have reasonable spacing between them and are deep enough to have plenty of room for the travel trailer and truck and provide some shade. The Grandkids enjoyed the playground area. It rained very heavily before and while we were there sites 4 and 5 had poor drainage which resulted in a lot of standing water forming a moat around the sites and muddy areas. Sites 1,2, 3 all seemed to have reasonable drainage and did not develop the mud pits. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Note: Cell phone service is non existent in this location. We did some geo-caching with the grand kids there were 3 sites reasonably nearby.

It was our first time camping at Fall River and by a dam; we enjoyed watching the water being let out and feeling the spray all the way to our campsite (#5). The camp hosts were welcoming and helpful; we so appreciate them and all they do! Our grandchildren loved the playground and we were thankful for our close proximity to it. We look forward to returning to this cozy spot in the future.
