What Guests Are Saying
Whitehall Bay offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with great lake views and spacious sites, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the city. The camp hosts and park rangers are friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall enjoyment for visitors. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use improvements and the access road is challenging, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and the serene environment.

Beautiful, peaceful and out of the way. There are 4 individual sites & 3 group sites out on the peninsula which put you right out on the water. One has elec & water and 2 just elec. Then there's 3 group sites with elec & water. There's also a loop of sites with full hook ups under the trees, some with lake views. There's also a loop with no hookups mostly for smaller units or tents. Every spot in here has a view of the lake really. When you first enter the campground there's a large group site with a large covered patio just for that site.Hot showers, clean bathrooms and amazing fishing, which you can put small boats, kayaks etc in right inside campground. The beach is no longer available as the lake is pretty low but still amazing. The only downfall is the road in which is fine while it's dirt but as you get closer to the campground is paved but really in bad shape. Just go slow and be prepared to weave big holes. It's definitely a place to see.

Clean campgrounds and restrooms kept very clean and neat. Always a great time coming out here to get away from the city for a few days!

Great location. However, the roads getting there are a bit rough, so you can only drive 10 mph or slower to get to the site. Once there it’s a quiet nice place to camp.

The location was nice. We had a group site and a good view of the lake. The campground was very full for memorial weekend and unfortunately, there was one group who played their music. INCREDIBLY LOUD almost all weekend. Many of these songs they were playing had very graphic Language, which I don’t feel was appropriate for the children in the campground. The camp host appeared to do nothing about it. They would simply turn it down some when the Ranger came around and then turn it back up when he left. We did ask them to turn it down and even called the sheriff to complain about it, but nothing was ever done for the entire weekend. I really thought the camp host would have done something about it since they were in the same campground.

The whole campground was in need of some maintenance. The shower house was in need of cleaning.
