What Guests Are Saying
Arrow Rock is a favored campground at Melvern Lake, known for its spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and well-maintained facilities. Visitors appreciate the great fishing opportunities and proximity to the water, making it ideal for family gatherings. While some campsites need repairs and there are concerns about low-hanging trees and long grass, the overall experience remains positive, with many campers eager to return.

I have camped at Arrow Rock in May for the last two years. Last year and this year the park was poorly maintained. This year, the grass was knee-high in the park. The gentleman camping next to me went home and got his weed trimmer to come back to the lake and clean his campsite. It is not enjoyable when the grass is wet in the mornings and it is so tall.
The most frustrating part was visiting a friend camping at the outlet park. The grass had been mowed previously and a mowing company was mowing again.
I could tell that the grass at Arrow Rock hadn't been mowed this year but the Outlet Park had been mowed at least twice.

Perfect time of year to enjoy Melvern Lake's Arrow Rock Campground. Not too hot, nor too cold. The fish were biting most days. My husband caught and released about nine. We met some other campers who also are return campers to Arrow Rock. We recommend this campground to all.

My husband and I reserved side by side campsites so that other family members and their families could all be together and enjoy each others company. Everyone enjoyed the view of the lake and the spaciousness of our sites. There was fishing, and if you dared you could go swimming right there in the lake, but most found it cold as it was the end of May. The playground for the grandkids was very nice and we brought a cornhole game as entertainment for the old ones. Everyone had fun. After dark the campfire was going and there they enjoyed reminiscing. The campground was well maintained and we felt the bathhouses were well kept too. We highly recommend Arrow Rock Camp and plan to make more reservations in the future.

This was one of the two sites we reserved for the same time period and an overall review was given for both sites 32 and 34.
