Restrooms and shower house was exceptionally clean. I wish the temperature with the showers could be warmer. It changes from day to day.

Very nice campground with sites close to the water. However, sites 1 - 5 are very unlevel and are not good for long trailers. I had to put my trailer (40' long) wheels up on blocks stacked up 1', and the front of my trailer was on the ground. Our friends near us had to do the same.

The campground was freshly mowed and restrooms were well taken care of. We loved the size of the spot. We were in #38 and had so much room and a great view of the lake.

We absolutely loved turkey point. The campground was beautiful and fairly priced.
The only complaint we had was that it hadn’t been mowed in quite a while and the grass was tall.
But it was nice to have a restroom/shower facility nearby. Overall a great experience

Grass was terribly high, called the main number to see if someone could come out to mow and the lady was a little rude and not helpful. We paid $600 for 3 days, they could have had the grass mowed.

We were there for 11 days. The restrooms were cleaned daily. Sometimes twice. The staff were very friendly. We have camped at turkey for many years. We will be back next year.

Getting There
From Osage City, Kansas, take K-170 south. Turn east onto 301st Street and continue 2 mi. Turn south onto Indian Hills Road and proceed about a mile to Turkey Point Parkway. Follow into the campground.
Highway access
Turkey Point is accessible via K-170, which connects with other local roads. No interstate or major highway access is mentioned within 25 miles.
Policies & Rules
General
- Failure to be on site within 24 hours of your reservation check-in time will result in a no show status.
- A poilicy of the Corps of Engineers is to require all campers, including camping units, that camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive-day period is prohibited.
- Under the new reservation system, the Lakeview Group Camp (LVGC) is listed in the TURKEY POINT loop. The Turkey Point Group Camp (TPGC) is listed under loop TPT4.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
