Been camping at this lake since the 80's and always have a good time weather permitting (lots of storms and a few tornadoes but don't understand why have three attendees when one used to do both East and west turkey before they shut down east

As always our stay at TP was great. We enjoy TP for the nice quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness. The restroom and shower facilities are cleanest that you will ever find. I appreciate that there's soap and hand sanitizer in them. The volunteers are so friendly. Jim even hooked us up with an o-ring for our sewer cap.

We’ve camped at this campground several times, and it consistently provides a great overall experience. The grounds are well maintained, peaceful, and set in park-like environment. Most campsites offer a view of the water, and several are located right along the shoreline, although many of those are non-electric.
This particular site has an excellent view of the lake and provides a nice amount of shade. The sites in this loop are more generously spaced than those in other areas of the campground, though neighboring campsites are still within about 30 feet or so. The site itself is gravel, level, and drains reasonably well after rain.
The restrooms and shower facilities are conveniently located throughout the campground and are consistently clean and well maintained. The camp hosts are friendly, visible throughout the campground, and always willing to help. The sheriff also patrols the area periodically, adding an extra sense of security.
One area that could use some attention is the fire rings. A few are in poor condition and would benefit from repair or replacement.

I have camped at Turkey Point several times and am always impressed by the dedication of the campground hosts and the volunteers who maintain this beautiful site. During a recent stay, I had an equipment problem with my awning. There are no mobile rv repair units in the area on the weekends. Jim and his wife Sue, the camp hosts, and onsite resident volunteers, Ron and his wife Diane jumped in to help me without hesitation. They brought a ladder and tools and were able to secure the awning so that my rv could be driven to a service center. They accepted nothing in return for their services, and I am grateful beyond words for their help. I look forward to staying at Turkey Point in the future where the staff went beyond their usual routine to help me out of a difficult situation. Thank you again to these two wonderful couples.
