Clean campground and facilities. Lake was within walking distance from camping spot but wished there was more of a clear path.

We love staying at TP. The group camp is really nice but there should be signs put up saying "private party, reserved" when its booked. We have a lot of children in our large group and always have strangers driving through the camp sometimes too fast. We love the pavilion and private beach too. The bathroom/shower house is kept clean too! We love turkey point. Our home away from home! Our only complaint is too many dogs and the owners who don't keep them quiet or pick up their messes.

Turkey point was a wonderful experience for us. A beautiful lake, great campsite, clean and exceptional bathrooms. The hostess at the office was super friendly. The campsites are far enough apartvto feel Privacy. Quiet and peaceful. Thanks 😊

Great stay! Always nice and peaceful.
We had a breaker go bad late one night and we had a very nice maintenance man come and put a new one in a very short time frame. Then we were good to go. The restrooms and showers were sooo clean.
You have excellent staff keeping TP a great place to go.

Turkey Point is a great campground! My favorite place to camp. Always have a good time.
The showers and bathrooms are always clean and smells so good. Cleanest of all campgrounds that we have ever camped at.
Turkey Point is always so quiet and peaceful.

Getting There
From Osage City, Kansas, take K-170 south. Turn east onto 301st Street and continue 2 mi. Turn south onto Indian Hills Road and proceed about a mile to Turkey Point Parkway. Follow into the campground.
Highway access
Turkey Point is accessible via K-170, which connects with other local roads. No interstate or major highway access is mentioned within 25 miles.
Policies & Rules
General
- Failure to be on site within 24 hours of your reservation check-in time will result in a no show status.
- A poilicy of the Corps of Engineers is to require all campers, including camping units, that camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive-day period is prohibited.
- Under the new reservation system, the Lakeview Group Camp (LVGC) is listed in the TURKEY POINT loop. The Turkey Point Group Camp (TPGC) is listed under loop TPT4.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
