Riverside Park is praised for its quiet atmosphere, well-maintained campgrounds, and clean facilities, including daily cleaned bathrooms. Many visitors enjoy the spacious, shaded sites and family-friendly access to the river and trails. Some concerns were raised about specific camping spots and obstructed paths, but overall, the location remains a cherished camping destination for many.

The campground is outstanding. It is a great value (water and electric for $10/night) and there is plenty to do in the area. The volunteer camp hosts are superb and they work really hard to keep the campground clean and all the facilities working properly.

This was a quick stop, one night, so I don’t have much to recommend. I do wish directions through the campground we’re made more clear. We pulled in 10 min after the ranger station closed and 50 min before a campground host became available. We drove around in circles, and there’s a lot of loops and different campgrounds. Otherwise it was quiet since we were there off season. Lots of space between sites. And we saw a few deer.

Love this campground and the Camp Host were great. Everything is so clean and well kept. Going back before it closes for the season and bringing friends.

Not much going on at the campground when we were there. Only 4 other campers on the property, so it was quiet!

Always a great time here. The facilities are nice and the setting is perfect. The two times we have gone the dump station at our campground has been flooded. Not a deal breaker since we can use other campsites dump station.

peaceful and relaxing. I'm from the Ozarks and this made me homesick. little in Kansas could compare to Riverside landscape. Don't change a thing. maybe get som canoes or kayaks to rent in future.
