Riverside Park is praised for its quiet atmosphere, well-maintained campgrounds, and clean facilities, including daily cleaned bathrooms. We love camping at Riverside. They opted to do a controlled burn on a weekend. It’s somewhat interfered with our fishing. I know this doesn’t happen often. I still give it five stars because this is where we love to camp. Maybe next time do the burn during the week when there aren’t as many campers there.

I typically camp here on opening weekend of pheasant season. In years past, there has been running water at the campsites. This year the water was turned off. I understand the reason as it barely got above freezing, but an update to the website or some form of signage would have been nice. As it was, most of us RV'ers had to go over to the State Park to fill up our fresh water holding tanks. No big deal, except that we had already unhooked and leveled before realizing the water was off. Other than that, the campsites and facilities are very well maintained and we enjoy staying here.

Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2022. 30amp service with water. Dump station has easy access. I have a large rig 43’ trailer pulled by HDT (semi truck) and navigated through the park without dropping off any payment. The sites are compacted gravel. Management needs to have tree branches cut to 15’ overhead clearance so they do not contact a rig moving throughout the park.

Very quiet with clean restrooms and campsite. Nice playground for kids. Well shaded on spos with nice picnic table, lots of room for vehicle, camper and additional vehicle and tent. Fantastic daily rate. More private than some of the other campsites at Kanopolis.
