Riverside Park is praised for its quiet atmosphere, well-maintained campgrounds, and clean facilities, including daily cleaned bathrooms. Nice, clean campground with clean and private bathrooms and showers. Easy access to the river. But not policed at night. Half the times my family has camped there, someone has stayed up late with lowed music and yelling. Unless you're in a camper with the A/C on, its difficult to get a good night's rest.

We love this camping spot. Unfortunately the bathroom was out of service and the pit toilet was the only option this time. Also, the campground lights were too bright to make stargazing an option.

Lovely patk along the river, perfect 3 night stop while
traveling across Kansas. Cute small towns worth exploring near by and the state park.

The site was large and fairly flat with shade. Access into backin was easy. Sites were spaced out well, lots of trees and close to river. Water and electric worked great. Needed the AC as it was over 100F. Beautiful area with interesting drives through NF land and Mushroom Rock State Park nearby.

Campsite was easy to fine and accessible. Each site is very close together and there is no privacy between sites. Bathrooms were available and clean.

We liked the small campground atmosphere, the cleanliness of the restroom facilities, the proximity of nearby parks and trails and the disc golf course. One thing that needs clarification tho is wood for the campfires. Our reservation specifically said to not bring in outside wood. We didn't, assuming there'd be places on site where we could purchase firewood. There were not. On a Saturday evening of Easter weekend we almost were without firewood for our stay. Thankfully the small town of Marquette was close by which, thankfully, had a small grocery store, which, thankfully, sold firewood. If you aren't going to allow firewood to be brought in from the outside you better be damn sure it's available to purchase at the campground area.
