The bathrooms weren’t open for storm safety, we had a very scary storm and no place to go. There was one shower house open but it was to small for everyone camping. Then we had to contend with the roads being tarred and gravel being layed over and over again then picked up and layed again and again. We love melvern and have stayed many times in that same area, so this was very disappointing. The safety issue should never happen again.

My wife and I stayed there after the flood of 2019. We didn't get to fish as much as we wanted because it was hot and the walk to get to the water was a long trek when you are carrying all of your gear. With the lake recovering in 2020 we cant wait to go camping here again. It is a very clean camp site with a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, swings for the kids etc

Great facility and very well maintained. Staff is very courteous and helpful. We've been coming here for years and enjoy the beautiful view and easy access to the lake.
