There are probably couple of trees that need to be cut down because they are dead. But otherwise, we had a good time at this site.

We love the outlet! #60 was hard to maneuver. The asphalt needed to be wider. We were very close to the edge while still allowing room for other vehicles to pass by. The asphalt is high so we had to makeshift another step.

Upon arrive we tried contacting "the office" via telephone and in person without any success to discuss an oversight on our part. This oversight ended up costing us an additional day in payment which was not used. With that being said the rates are very reasonable for "out of season" usage. Another issue that needs to be address is the "Carry-in Carry-out" trash. Although we agree with the intent, we feel if a family would be staying for a week or two the amount of trash generated would be a burden on said family. We would suggest that a dumpster be place near the dump station for campers to use.

We love Melvern but we have noticed a change in the facility. People are parking their autos and boats on the road making it harder to get around to get to your spot. People are driving fast through the park making it unsafe for children and adults that may be riding bikes or taking walks. We are not seeing the Park Officer but once for the whole weekend. If he or she would come though and clear the roadways that would be nice.
