We really loved our stay at Melvern Lake. We stayed two nights and wished we stayed longer. Our site (#27) had the lake through the back window of our 35 ft 5th wheel. The grass was kept cut in walking areas. The park was very clean and well kept. We did not have any interaction with the camphosts. There are 2 washers and dryers in Loop A that were in the rear of the bigger bathhouse. They aren't marked, so just try the door. We would definitely return here for a longer stay.

Melvern is so well taken care of. The staff who take care of the grounds do an excellent job of keeping it clean. It’s a beautiful peaceful location and it’s a wonderful place just to sit back and relax. Thank you for this beautiful place.

Great experience. We reserved a sit and didn’t realize it had no sewer hookup. The attendant at the check in gate helped us to move to a spot with full hook ups. Very professional and helpful. We also had a issue with the electrical hookup and when reported a repair person showed up right away and replaced the plug fixing the problem. Excellent service. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

From US-75, take the Melvern exit. Turn west onto Melvern Lake Parkway and continue 1/4 mile to the cut-off road, then another 1/4-mile west to River Pond Parkway and follow into the campground.

- Attention all campers, the laundry facilities are permanently closed to all park guests.
- Special creel and length limits are enforced on the park fishing pond
- Failure to be on site within 24 hours of your reservation status.
- A poilicy of the Corps of Engineers is to require all campers, including camping units, that camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive-day period is prohibited.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site within a fire ring. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
