Outlet(Melvern)

This is our second time visiting this park. It’s absolutely a beautiful setting around a small lake which has a trail that completely surrounds it and an additional small hiking trail through the woods. I believe most of the spaces are paved, all are well laid out and while we didn’t use the shower rooms we did check them out and they were spotless. We travel in a class A pusher with a toad. They have pull thru and back-in site, some with trees and some without. Most sites if not all have a great view of the lake and many are right on it, fishing is allowed. Not all sites have full hookup but I believe they all have 30 & 50 amp service with water. Should our travels ever take us within 100 mi of this park I’m certain will plan to stay again for a few nights.

While it’s probably an impossible task the reservation program needs to be reviewed. Too many people reserved for a long period and only using the space part time m

Very well managed facility. Clean, well maintained, and friendly support.

Wonderful place to camp. Only problem is that one can hardly reserve a camp spot due to so many people reserving them early and for all summer/fall,

Enjoyed the trip. Will return next season. However unsure why dump station was closed when we left so had to pay to dump at another location.

The park is very nice as a rule. It is clean and lots of shade. To many rules though. In the past they have said no unregistered vehicles which included e-bikes. No wading pools for the toddlers. I don't agree with either of these. These rules are made for people to break and I see people on e-bikes all the time. Someone with a 5th wheel camper 40 long that has a full bath, and kitchen will use 10 times as much water as a person with a pop-up camper and a wading pool. The park is very nice but it is usually the people who camp there that are the problem. This is a problem where ever you go.
If you can go to outlet during the week, you will be fine. Stay away on the weekends.
