What's not to like, near the water, FHUs, quiet and there is a phenomenal shelter house.

The zig-zag parking looks close on the map, but it’s set up in a way that still gives plenty of space in front of your door. It’s also laid out in a manner where all doors face the view of the water. They are staggered so most campsites have a view, though they are not close to the water. No fire rings though.

Only not good was ...fishing. Over all great time.

We really enjoyed our visit to Melvern Lake. It is really beautiful here. The staff were friendly and everything is clean. We enjoyed walking along the path by the lake. We will be back!

Nice place to visit if you can get in, their spots are normally full with the exception of the vacant ones that people don't show up without canceling.
